Shipping

On July 1, 2022, the Packaging Act was amended. Under VerpackG2, manufacturers, distributors and online retailers who commercially place packaging filled with goods on the market are obliged to license.

Anyone who delivers to end consumers abroad may also have to acquire a packaging license there. Each country also has its own recycling system and laws regarding packaging recycling. The complexity for online shops when it comes to international shipping is therefore considerable. In the worst case, violations could result in sales bans or high six-figure fines or even imprisonment. In some cases you have to have legal representatives abroad to apply (tax advisors, lawyers); in England alone you have to register with four different environmental authorities. In some cases, you would have to prove exactly how much weight per package was sent to a respective country. More detailed information is sometimes only available in the local language, which also requires an interpreter. You can also be bound to minimum terms of the license agreements. The costs for this start in the mid three-digit range. And if in doubt, everything is just for one package.

This may be worthwhile for a wholesaler. For a small business like us, this is neither logistically, administratively nor financially feasible.

Therefore, please understand if we only ship within Germany.

If you have a shipping address in Germany (friends, family, etc), then we can make your dreams come true.
